All students at St John's not matter their skill or experience level, are given opportunities to enjoy the many benefits of individual and team sports on both a school and representative level. 

The involvement of students in extra-curricular offerings of the school are essential part of our vision to developing confident, reflective and compassionate young people who are committed to transforming our world through example, service and leadership.

Interschool Competitions exist for the following teams:

Rugby Union Netball Basketball Water Polo
Australian Rules Football (Soccer) Athletics Swimming
Cross Country​Rugby League
Futsal​Rugby 7's

Representative ​​Pathway
The schools representative pathways is an excellent opportunity for students to be involved and be recognised for their achievements in their cho​sen sport. St John's College Nambour is part of both the North District (13 years and older) and the Nambour District (12 year olds) and regularly offers opportunities for students to explore their potential.
Please note the school does not allocate a school representative unless advised, trials are managed and run by the North District and Sunshine Coast Regional Office.

Breakdown:
  • School Level (Interschool competitions ie. netball, rugby, football, & waterpolo)
  • District Level (trials/nominations to North District or Nambour District Coordinators)
  • Regional Level (selection at Regional Trials Day or Direct to Regional Trial)
  • State Level
  • National Level
​Nomination Process For District Trials

Check calendar and notices for upcoming trials​

  1. ​Completed either the North District of Nambour District Consent Booklet based on your students age. 
  2. Hand your consent booklet into the Sports Office to have it signed.
  3. Collect your signed Consent Booklet.
  4. Complete the QR Code.
  5. Attend the set trial with your paperwork.
 
Nomination Process For Direct to Regional Trial

  1. Completed either the North District of Nambour District, Direct to Regional Consent Booklet based on your students age. 
  2. Hand your consent booklet into the Sports Office to have it signed.
  3. Collect your signed Consent Booklet.
  4. Pay the fee and print and attach you receipt to the paperwork
  5. Attend the set trial with your paperwork.​
